With the series "Come Together Milestones" we pursue the goal to show what you can do with the music of the Beatles, in how many directions it can be stretched and reinterpreted. Another of these really special evenings, in which Beatles songs are transferred into completely unexpected genres and performances, is hidden behind "Mushroom Head Sauce with Barrel". The name already suggests it: Things will happen here that you've definitely never seen before. Because with "Pilzkopfsoße mit Fass" you will experience live on stage two musicians who take great pleasure in rethinking music and its interpretation. The name Christian von Richthofen may already be familiar to some: a singing drummer and percussionist who gained fame by martially processing all kinds of material in his shows ("AUTOAUTO") - including cars, port containers or household appliances - and using them to create novel forms of sound and rhythm. For the COME TOGETHER EXPERIENCE he has now worked together with the pianist and graduate of the Berlin University of the Arts, big band leader and theater musician Dirk Bleese on a - in a broader sense - "song cycle" around the Fab Four, with German lyrics and unusual instrumentation: a metal barrel processed with butcher's gloves, a loop station, some effects devices and an acoustic piano. It will be exciting - we can guarantee that much!
