ONE AFTER 909
The song that this Dutch band is named after can be found on “Let it Be”, the last album the Beatles released, although John Lennon had written it (with a little help from Paul) at the age of 17 and had even recorded it with the Quarrymen. The concerts of “One After 909” are like a trip through the Beatles’ history as well. In their home country they are already one of the most popular Beatles tribute bands, and over the past few years they have also made a name for themselves abroad – for instance, they have performed at Hamburg’s famous “Indra” and at Liverpool’s legendary “Cavern Club”. Robbie Korver, Rempe Kooij, Diederick Rebel and Willem Zweers have a stunning repertoire of over 100 Beatles songs, which they present on stage in a most authentic way, complete with costumes from the Fab Four’s various creative periods. We can hardly wait to see what they have planned for their gig in Hamburg.
