Maik Brüggemeyer is an editor for the German edition of The Rolling Stone magazine since 2001. He very often writes about music, film or literature quite often linked to the Beatles in one way or another. He also writes novels and non-fiction.
In 2019 Penguin published his compendium “Pop. Eine Gebrauchsanweisung. “(Pop. A manual.) in which he -once and for all- gives us the answers to pop history’s great questions such as: Beatles or Stones? Who was more important for the Beatles- John or Paul? Can Bob Dylan actually sing? How to define taste? What does the pop star of the future look like? He’s also working on a novel about the friendship between John Lennon and Paul McCartney. For Come Together Maik Brüggemeyer will read from a selection of his own texts.
