DIRK DARMSTAEDTER

“One of Germany’s underground pop heroes“ –  New York Times. The New York Times puts it in a nutshell. Dirk Darmstaedter grew up with best of both worlds, born in Hamburg and raised in New Jersey. He is the founder, singer and songwriter of The Jeremy Days, the band released 5 records between 1988 and 1995. Surprisingly reuniting this year, they are currently playing a couple of shows, very much to the delight of their fans. Dirk is also the founder of record labels “Tapete Records” (2002) and “Beg, Steal and Borrow” (2009), through which he releases albums as “Me and Cassity” and under his own name. Since 20017 he also curates his own radio show, “Sounds like Dirk” on German radio station Bremen Zwei. Dirk is also a lecturer at BIMM Hamburg since 2019. “Learn from the Beatles! This band is a source of inspiration when it comes to creativity, songwriting, style, humour and humanity,“ Darmstaedter says. For Come Together Dirk will play an exclusive choice of his favourite Beatles songs. We’re excited!
